Ireland has managed to achieve a reputation for being one of the best festival venues in Europe. Many of these festivals are located out of town and so hiring a campervan is the ideal way to enjoy the festival experience.

The festival promoters realise the demand for campervans and so the campervan sites are well catered for giving you the best location and facilities on site.

Electric Picnic 2013 will take place in Stradbally Co. Laois over the last weekend in September. 2013 will be the ninth year of the picnic and it has gone from strength to strength, offering a mix of music, arts, culture, comedy, plus much more. Over the Weekend of the 4th May a Festival cantered around campervans and music takes place. Vantastival 2013will take place in Bellurgan Park, Dundalk Co. Louth and is growing in poularity. Aside from the music there is plenty to see & do including a campervan cook off. Renting one of our Detour Campervans will allow you to enjoy the great experience without the cost of owning one.

So we all know campervans and surfing go hand in hand and if you add in a live music festival then you are guaranteed a great weekend. The Sea Session Surf Music Festival is in its 5th year and will be held from the 21st June to the 23rd June. Sea Sessions is known to be a launch pad for Irish music acts and its a great venue to spot some up and coming acts along with some great headline acts.

Longitude Festival, Plans are in place for the first Lonitude Festival in Ireland which will run on the same weekend as the Latitude festival in the UK. We dont have any more info but updates will be posted as we get them.

Spirit of Folk is a three-day, family friendly festival running from 21-23 September in the stunning grounds of Dunderry Park, Co Meath. Spirit of Folk Festival will showcase some of the highlights of the UK and Irish folk scene.
